A Place to
& Move Forward
Rebuild
Taking the first step toward change is brave, and we’re here to walk with you. At House of Refuge Sunnyslope, we provide a safe, stable home for single women seeking to break free from homelessness and rebuild their lives. Our faith-based rehabilitation program includes housing, meals, career mentorship, and Bible study, giving you the tools to move forward with confidence.
With up to 12 months of supportive housing, you’ll have the time and guidance to find employment, grow in faith, and build a foundation for a thriving future. You are not alone—we are here to support, encourage, and equip you every step of the way.
What you need to know:
We are a structured, faith-based program designed for women who are ready to commit to change. Here are a few key things to know before applying:

Employment is Required
You’ll need to find and maintain a full-time job as part of your journey toward independence. We can help you with this.

Code of
Conduct
Our community is built on respect, integrity, and accountability. While we will discuss the details on our first call, the basics are simple: No illegal activities. No drugs.

Faith is at the Center
You do not have to be a Christian to live here, but Bible studies, financial stewardship, mentorship, and being open to God are core parts of our program. We encourage openness to exploring what faith means to you.

Long-Term Stability
You can reside on campus for up to 12 months, giving you time to rebuild, refocus, and move forward with purpose.

Take the Next Step
If you’re ready to embrace change and start fresh in a safe, supportive community, we welcome you with open arms. This is your chance to heal, grow, and step into the life you were meant for.
